Vincent Pernin & Quentin Chanudet in Les Arcs: “La 8”

What an awesome time I had filming this DH MTB video project with Vincent Pernin and Quentin Chanudet, on their home trail.

The video has been made for Commencal, and Les Arcs Bike Park.

It was a real challenge to film because both riders had to be synchronised for all of the different camera angles, especially in the section where they choose a different line at 2″15.

It is undeniable how much I enjoyed filming, it made the editing more difficult, but I think that we’ve done a pretty good job! 😉

Vincent Pernin words:

“La 8″ is one of the trails of Les Arcs Bike Park, where I live now. This trail is one of the many options you have to get down to Bourg Saint Maurice. Not the easiest, but for sure not the hardest. It is just a very flowy trail, with fun features mixed with some aggressive DH turns, technical sections with roots & rocks.
I love to ride this trail with my buddy, Quentin Chanudet who is from the area. Quentin is a good fellow to ride with, and also a good DH WC rider. We love to ride close on this trail and overtake each other, every time we get the chance: pretty much like in this video.

Website Update

Summer season is already over, I just came back to France a couple of weeks ago after spending 6 months in Whistler BC Canada.
The winter is starting slowly here in Europe so I had a bit of time to work on the website.
I added a Video section where you can see (if you haven’t seen already) a great video with Vincent Pernin that we filmed last summer on Trespasser, one of the gnarliest, steepest, hardest and most technical hidden trail you can find in Whistler BC.
I also added an Editorial Photo Album with some published photos, a Gear section with all my actual Camera Equipment, and a Partners section with Clients, Partners or People I’ve worked with.
Also, now you can follow me on Twitter, Facebook, Vimeo, or  Pinkbike, I added a little logo on top of the Website with all the links.
I’m back in Val d’Isère for the winter season now, the resort opens tomorrow and I can’t wait to go skiing!!!
I’ll try to keep you updated as much as I can during the winter season.
Well, time to pick up my season pass now, enjoy the website! I hope you like it 😉
